Really nice staff, very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Had some really good food recommendations too. There is a kitchen but we didn't use it as its very small and often always in use. It also closes at 10 which I thought was a little early as it's the common area too.
The bedrooms were really small with no room to move in and not that clean. The bathrooms need a good scrub. But for the price I am not complaining it does the job!
Stan the host is super nice, like really. The terrasse is great. However common spaces close at 5pm and not 11, which makes it impossible to meet people. I was only here for one night and chose the place because of the get together it offers. The rooms are ok but not so clean, and the bathrooms are disgusting, Iu2019ve been to at least 30 hostels in Asia in much poorer countries and I ve never seen that many hairs and dust and spider webs. No cleaning for months?? I am surprised with the reviews.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was nice, even though that the neighborhood was a bit dark to back home by feet at night. I am warning you though, if you are a cleaning freak or a person more concerned about this pandemic time, don't go there. It's a cheap option of course, but this doesn't justify the dirty walls and floor, full of small spiders and hair all over. I also doubt if the bed linen and towels had been adequately cleaned. I hope it gets better in the future..
The guy running the hostel is great! Very nice, very helpful and nice to hang around with. The place is clean and in a good location in a quiet street in walking distance from the city centre.
But the downside is that in these strange covid times the common area closes around 5 which also gives you no access to the fridge anymore and not the best place as a solo traveller to meet others and hang around in the evening. Propably this is different in normal times.

Bedding and furniture are such poor quality but it's relatively clean, just don't look underpr behind anything, it's really filthy. Very depressing part of town with nothing around.

Beds had no duvet covers, pillow covers needed a clean and the room was cold. Furthermore, the showers were good but a blocked drain wasnu2019t great. Location was Ok. Admittedly, travelling in Winter O canu2019t vouch for what the courtyard would be like in a good summer day it looked pretty nice. Overall a decent stay!

Great city and great stay at this hostel. I'd definitely recommend it and book it again for the great value for money, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and beds with individual lockers, plugs, and lights, good breakfast, coffee and tea available all the time. Also, it's close to downtown, the central train and bus station, and public transport to the airport.
